VICE PRESIDENT - QUALITY & REGULATORY
Mendor is a diabetes technology company from Espoo, Finland.
Our products include an innovative blood glucose meter and
cloud-based glucose data analysis software. We are currently selling
our products in the EU region, and continuing to expand our business
globally. We have recently launched our products with Merck Serono in
the UK.
As VP Quality & Regulatory you will be
responsible for the quality and regulatory management of the company.
This includes working together with two Quality Engineers (reporting to
you) on areas such as Quality System development, company key process
development, Production quality control, quality requirements from
regulatory and from customers, audits, non-conformities etc. You will
be a member of the management team, and you will report to the CEO.
The person we are looking for is a true professional with at least 5
years or more of proven quality and regulatory management background
from the medical device industry. Preferable would be blood glucose
monitoring and/or diabetes related experience. The person will need to
have strong communication skills and an open and positive mindset, as
well as strong operational and management skills. The person will need
to be absolutely fluent in at least English language (not necessarily
Finnish). You would be based in Espoo, Finland (at least 3 days a week)
at the Mendor HQ.
We expect:
- - Solid
quality and regulatory mgmt. background with international experience
including production, R&D and supplier quality management
- - Strong knowledge about FDA QSR, ISO 13485 and ISO 14971
- - Excellent communication skills, positive hands-on attitude, enthusiasm, good management skills
- - Min 5 years of experience from medical devices / blood glucose monitoring / diabetes
- - The ability to work calmly under pressure
- - Excellent English proficiency
- - Willingness to travel a lot, and work onsite in Espoo at least 3 days a week.

As a production team leader, you would be responsible for achieving and maintaining daily manufacturing targets of consumable devices manufactured at Mendor Oy, Espoo, Finland
Technical responsibilities & accountabilities:
- Ensures that daily production targets are met in line with the latest production forecast and demand model
- Ensure a production team are fully trained and knowledgeable of the products they are building
- Ensure the production team shift patterns, lunch breaks, holiday periods are optimised to provide maximum capacities
- Provide daily reporting to Production Manager on productivity figures
- To analyse and recommend manufacturing improvements and methodologies where appropriate
- To achieve and improve cycle times for each step of the processes
- To assist Production Manager with recruitment processes when building a dedicated manufacturing team
People responsibilities & accountabilities:
- To be a strong team player and be supportive of other members of the production team
- Mentor all team members of the production team in cGMP
- Mentors and facilitates successful team behaviour within and across functional areas
Quality and Compliancy responsibilities & accountabilities:
- Establish role modelling of quality as part of your everyday role within the team
- Ensure cGMP is employed and adhered to within the manufacturing areas
Health & Safety Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
- To comply with the company’s current health and safety requirements
Personal development:
- Responsible for identifying any development requirements or needs to fulfil the position and determine those development opportunities for personal improvement.
- Responsible for reviewing your development plan at least twice per year with your leader.

As an international Account Manager you will be responsible for the account management of selected key accounts within Mendor (mainly outside of Finland). The work consist of partner / distributor relationship management, sales target setting and follow-up, local training and support activities, delivery arrangements, working closely with internal production and sourcing, as well as internal quality department. You will report to VP of Sales.
The person we are looking for is a true professional with at least 5-10 years of proven account management background from the pharma or medical device industry. Preferable would be blood glucose monitoring and/or diabetes related experience. The person will need to have strong communication skills and an open and positive mindset, as well as strong operational and project management skills. We are also looking for enthusiasm and strong drive to get things done. The person will need to be absolutely fluent in at least English language (not necessarily Finnish). You would be based in Espoo, Finland.
